Community Cultural Tourism Village — A must-visit destination
BHG - On the journey to explore Ha Giang, the community cultural tourism villages are the must-visit destinations.
Visiting Lung Cu National Flagpole, visitors can experience the fairy-tale space at the Community Cultural Tourism Village in Lo Lo Chai Hamlet, Lung Cu Commune. The village features nearly 120 households, mainly Lo Lo people, standing out with ancient rammed earth houses, yin-yang tiled roofs, and colourful traditional costumes. Unique festivals such as praying for rain, bronze drum dancing, and the hospitality of the people create a special attraction for this place.

Leaving Lo Lo Chai, visitors can go to the Community Cultural Tourism Village in Pa Vi Ha Hamlet, Pa Vi Commune (Meo Vac). The village is designed in a hexagonal shape, with 26 households, 18 of which provide homestay services. In addition to accommodation, dining, and herbal bath services, visitors can also attend the Gau Tao Festival and immerse themselves in the unique Khen dances and traditional dances of the Mong people.
Although not surrounded by the majestic beauty of the Stone Plateau like the Community Cultural Tourism Villages of Lo Lo Chai and Pa Vi Ha, the Community Cultural Tourism Village of Tha Village, Phuong Do Commune, Ha Giang City, still possesses many unique features and attractions. The village is located at the foot of the Tay Con Linh range, with a pristine beauty with ancient stilt houses covered in green moss.
Nearly 100% of the residents here are Tay people, who are famous for Then singing, Tinh lute, and specialties such as hill chicken, Bong fish, and village duck.
In addition to the above villages, Ha Giang has nearly 40 other Community Cultural Tourism Villages, such as Lung Cam Village (Dong Van), Nam Dam (Quan Ba), Khiem (Bac Quang), or Na Rang (Xin Man).
Each village preserves the unique cultural values of ethnic groups such as Mong, Tay, and Dao, and attracts tourists through natural scenery, traditional festivals, cuisine, and agricultural production activities.
With the policy of "Using culture to develop tourism, using tourism to preserve culture," Ha Giang Province has built the Community Cultural Tourism Villages to develop sustainably, create jobs, increase income, reduce poverty, and preserve national identity.
Ha Giang is not only a tourist destination but also a place to preserve cultural values and stories about a potential land.
The Community Cultural Tourism Villages will continue to be a deep impression in the hearts of tourists, contributing to preserving traditions and creating sustainable livelihoods for the people.
