Local authorities implemented a range of coordinated measures to ensure public security, environmental hygiene, and food safety at tourist sites and attractions. Hotels and accommodation facilities were subject to enhanced inspections to promptly detect and strictly handle cases involving counterfeit goods, substandard products, or food safety violations.
Travel companies, accommodation providers, restaurants and other tourism-related businesses generally complied with legal regulations and proactively prepared the necessary infrastructure, staffing, and safety protocols to ensure a smooth experience for visitors.
As a result, there were no reports of inflated or forced pricing, and the service quality left a positive impression on tourists.
This year’s holiday saw a strong police presence at popular tourist hotspots, including Quan Ba Heaven’s Gate, the lone tree on Can Ty Pass, Tham Ma Pass, and Ma Pi Leng Pass. Officers were deployed to regulate traffic and maintain public order. Despite the high number of visitors, there were no major traffic jams, and security was effectively maintained.
In recent years, Ha Giang has consistently ranked among the top tourist destinations in Asia and globally, attracting a growing number of both domestic and international travellers.
Continued investment in restaurants, hotels, homestays, and security infrastructure at heritage sites and scenic locations has gradually improved the overall quality of tourism services in the province.
